What to Bring

The Northern Territory is renowned for its hot weather. During the Wet Season, October – April, the heat is amplified with high humidity and during the Dry Season, you can expect cooler mornings and dry warm days. These conditions make for the perfect breeding grounds for wild Barramundi.

Clothing

We recommend a loose-fitted, long-sleeved shirt and preferably a UV rated one. Likewise, long, loose-fitted pants will protect your legs. Guests are permitted to wear sneakers or thongs on board but must have some form of footwear.

Hats

A wide-brimmed hat is recommended to protect your face and ears from the sun. Face shields or scarves made out of UV rated material are also highly beneficial.

Glasses

Glasses will protect your eyes from the glare of the river.

Insect Repellent

Wearing a strong mosquito repellent is recommended.

Sunscreen

A 50+ sunscreen is necessary for these parts as the sun is unforgiving and ever-present.
