A wide-brimmed hat is recommended to protect your face and ears from the sun. Face shields or scarves made out of UV rated material are also highly beneficial.
Glasses will protect your eyes from the glare of the river.
Wearing a strong mosquito repellent is recommended.
A 50+ sunscreen is necessary for these parts as the sun is unforgiving and ever-present.
